Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC reviewed its overall business performance and approved several policy decisions at its 460th Board Meeting held on Wednesday at the bank’s head office.
The meeting was presided over by Khwaja Shahriar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, according to a press release.
Board members reviewed the bank’s business performance and discussed a range of policy matters during the session. Several policy decisions were taken at the meeting, said in a press release.
Among the directors present were Md Shahin Ul Islam, Md Abdul Wadud, Prof Dr Mohammed Abu Eusuf and Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA.
Also attending the meeting was Mohammad Anisur Rahman, Observer and Director of the Islamic Banking Regulation and Policy Department (IBRPD) of Bangladesh Bank.
Managing Director and CEO Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, Company Secretary (Acting) Mohammad Moniruzzaman FCA and senior executives of the bank were also present.
The meeting took place at the bank’s head office on June 17 and focused on reviewing the institution’s business activities and policy agenda.
