Janata Bank PLC and Farazi Hospital Limited signed a corporate agreement on Monday, June 15, aimed at expanding access to medical services for bank stakeholders, the organisations said in a press statement. Under the deal, employees, executives, officers and their family members, as well as cardholders and general customers of Janata Bank, will receive special discounts on a range of healthcare services, including pathological tests at Farazi Hospital.
The agreement was formalised at a signing ceremony attended by Janata Bank Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md Faiz Alam, General Managers Md Abdul Matin and Mohammad Anis, along with Farazi Hospital Managing Director Moktar Hossain, Md Mozammel Haq and Osman Gani.
Senior executives and officials from the Janata Bank PLC head office were also present at the event.
The partnership is expected to enhance employee welfare and customer benefits through improved access to discounted medical services, the statement added. It reflects a growing trend among financial institutions in Bangladesh to collaborate with healthcare providers in offering corporate healthcare facilities.
Both organisations said the initiative will help ensure easier and more affordable access to diagnostic and medical services for a wider group of bank-affiliated individuals and customers across the country.
