The Islamic Foundation has announced the final Sehri and Iftar timings for the holy month of Ramadan.
The month is expected to begin on 19 February, subject to the sighting of the moon.
According to the schedule published on Tuesday, on the first day of Ramadan 1447 Hijri, Sehri in Dhaka will end at 5:12 am, while Iftar will be at 5:58 pm.
The Islamic Foundation has advised that people in other regions of the country adjust their Sehri and Iftar times by adding or subtracting up to nine minutes depending on their location relative to Dhaka.
The full timetable can be accessed through the Islamic Foundation’s official release.
However, the holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed in Bangladesh on 3 February this year.
