Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has launched its Customer Service Month campaign under the slogan, “Building Tomorrow’s Bangladesh Through Welfare-Oriented Banking.”

The campaign was inaugurated on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, at Islami Bank Tower by the bank’s Acting Managing Director, Altaf Hossain, who attended as the chief guest.

Additional Managing Director Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Majumder addressed the programme as the special guest. The event was chaired by Additional Managing Director Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim. Executive Vice President Md Majnuzzaman also spoke at the programme.

Among those present were Deputy Managing Directors Md Mahbub Alam, Mahmudur Rahman, Md Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah and Md Maksudur Rahman, along with senior executives from the bank’s head office. All zonal heads, branch managers and sub-branch managers also joined the programme virtually.

In his address, Altaf Hossain said all branches, sub-branches, agent outlets and digital banking services of Islami Bank are currently operating normally. He added that remittance customers are also receiving uninterrupted services.

He said that most customers who had previously closed their accounts and withdrawn their deposits have already returned to the bank, expressing renewed confidence in the institution. According to him, this voluntary return clearly reflects the long-standing trust customers have placed in Islami Bank.

Altaf Hossain said Islami Bank is a strong, stable and resilient financial institution. He urged all employees to continue working with transparency, accountability, good governance and the highest standards of professionalism.
