Senior Nayeb-e-Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Faizul Karim, went to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Wednesday afternoon to inquire about the physical condition of former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and to express solidarity with her.
The Islami Andolan leader spoke with BNP leaders present at the hospital and gathered information from the doctors about the latest progress in Khaleda Zia’s treatment. Later, he offered prayers wishing for her swift recovery and a blessed life, according to a press statement.
He said, “Khaleda Zia is a senior politician. Her presence is needed during this critical time for the nation.” At that moment, he expressed solidarity with BNP leaders and workers and Khaleda Zia’s family.
At that time, Senior Joint Secretary General and party spokesperson Maulana Gazi Ataur Rahman and Joint Secretary General Maulana Sheikh Fazle Bari Masud were also present.
