The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday that Iran’s “True Promise 4” operation resulted in more than 650 US military casualties either killed or wounded within its first two days.

According to IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, Iranian forces struck American bases and naval vessels across the region with missiles and drones, forcing the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier to withdraw from waters near Iran.

General Naeini said that Iranian attacks caused significant damage to US military facilities in the Persian Gulf. He claimed that while Washington may deny the losses, Iranian intelligence and battlefield reports confirm them.

Among the strikes, repeated missile and drone assaults targeted the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, where one attack reportedly left 160 American personnel dead or injured. Additionally, the US Navy’s MST combat support ship was heavily damaged by Iranian naval missiles.

Naeini further revealed that Iranian naval forces launched four cruise missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln, positioned roughly 250–300 kilometers off Chabahar’s coast. Following the strikes, the carrier retreated toward the southeastern Indian Ocean.
