Bangladeshi actor Irfan Sajjad has expressed frustration over the service quality and scheduling of Biman Bangladesh Airlines after experiencing disruption during a flight.
The small-screen actor shared his experience on Facebook, posting a video that showed the inconvenience he faced while travelling with the national carrier.
According to Sajjad, he noticed maintenance work taking place in the cockpit after boarding the aircraft, prompting him to suspect that something was wrong.
Passengers were subsequently asked to disembark without receiving a clear explanation, he said.
Adding humorous music to the video, the actor wrote that neither the passengers nor the airline staff knew when the aircraft would finally take off. He sarcastically compared the experience to travelling on a local bus.
In a further expression of frustration, Sajjad jokingly referred to the airline as “Beiman Bangladesh Airlines”, a play on the carrier’s name that conveyed his disappointment with the service.
His post reflects wider frustration among passengers over flight delays, poor communication and the standard of air travel services in Bangladesh.
