Iran’s Legal Medicine Organization reported Sunday that 3,375 people were killed in the war with the US and Israel, according to its chief Abbas Masjedi.
The toll, identified through forensic methods, included 2,875 men and 496 women, state media said.
AFP noted it could not independently verify the figures due to reporting restrictions.
