Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed high appreciation for the role played by Qatar Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in fostering de-escalation within the region.
During a telephone conversation on Thursday, Pezeshkian noted that such diplomatic efforts are essential to consolidate regional and global stability.
In response, Thani congratulated the Iranian President on the newly concluded memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington. The Qatari leader expressed optimism that the agreement would serve to bolster long-term regional and international peace.
Thani further reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s “unwavering support” for diplomacy and all initiatives aimed at resolving disputes and safeguarding international peace.
