Iran’s army chief Amir Hatami vowed a “decisive” response after senior security official Ali Larijani was killed in an Israeli airstrike.
Hatami warned of “deterrent and regretful” retaliation against “criminal America and the bloodthirsty Zionist regime,” pledging the deaths would be avenged.
The IRGC separately claimed it had already launched missiles at central Israel in retaliation, AFP reported.
