International School Dhaka (ISD) is inviting local communities to its annual Winter Fair on 29 November to celebrate the festive season.
ISD said in a statement that the fair will take place from 11:30 am to 7 pm on its campus in Bashundhara and will offer a day of entertainment, festivities, and community activities.
The event will feature student performances alongside a variety of stalls and activities for visitors of all ages.
ISD said tickets will be available at the main school gates on the day of the fair with an entry fee of Tk200.
Major attractions will include live performances by ISD students and Black Zang and the band, who are known for blending traditional Bengali elements with modern hip-hop.
“Winter Fair is one of the highlights of our school year, embodying the creativity and warmth that define ISD,” said ISD Director Steve Calland-Scoble.
He said the fair brings together people from across the community to enjoy music, fun, and shared experiences.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to make the celebration special,” he said.
ISD is an International Baccalaureate World School established in 1999, offering the full International Baccalaureate continuum for students aged 2 to 18, and hosting learners from more than 30 nationalities through experienced faculty and modern facilities.
The organisers said the Winter Fair is supported by sponsors including Commercial Bank as title sponsor, United Healthcare and Bashundhara Tissue as gold sponsors, Bangas Long Beach Hotel Cox’s Bazar and Boxlight as silver sponsors, and Hyper Playgrounds as activity partner.
