Infinix has launched its HOT 70 smartphone in Bangladesh, priced at Tk18,999 and Tk21,999, aiming to attract users looking for smoother gaming, faster performance, and longer battery life in the mid-range segment.

The device is positioned under the HOT series as a performance-oriented model designed to handle both gaming and everyday multitasking more efficiently, the company said in a press release.

At its core, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, which manages processing tasks and ensures stable performance during activities such as gaming, browsing, and app usage.

The device features a 120Hz refresh rate display, meaning the screen updates more frequently per second to deliver smoother visuals, especially noticeable during gaming and scrolling. It also supports up to 90 frames per second in games, helping reduce lag and improve responsiveness.

Battery life remains a key focus, with a 6000mAh battery designed to last through extended usage. The 45W fast charging allows quicker power top-ups, while bypass charging directs power to the system instead of the battery during gaming, reducing heat and maintaining consistent performance.

On the camera front, the smartphone includes a 50MP rear camera with autofocus for clearer and more detailed images, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Infinix has added a Thermo Orange colour-changing variant, alongside a design aimed at maintaining comfort during prolonged use, particularly for gaming and content consumption.

The device is available in two variants, 128GB storage with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with 6GB RAM, both supporting virtual RAM expansion, which uses a portion of storage to assist memory performance. An 8GB RAM version is expected to be introduced later.

Infinix said the HOT series focuses on delivering a balance of performance, design, and usability, targeting users who rely on their smartphones for gaming, content creation, and daily digital activities.
