Smartphone brand Infinix is preparing to launch the HOT 70 with a design-focused approach, aiming to reposition the mid-range segment around aesthetics and user experience.

According to the company, the device has already drawn attention among technology users, with a focus on colour variation, design innovation, and visual appeal beyond standard performance metrics.

The move comes as Bangladesh’s smartphone market shifts, particularly among younger users who are increasingly prioritising how a device looks and feels alongside its features.

At the centre of the HOT 70 is a thermo-sensing back panel built with thermochromic technology.

The surface is designed to change colour in response to temperature, allowing the device to shift its tone based on environmental conditions or touch.

The company said the feature works passively without requiring additional power, combining visual impact with efficiency.

The device is also expected to emphasise tactile comfort, with a skin-friendly finish designed to improve grip and in-hand feel, a feature more common in higher-end smartphones.

Durability has also been considered. The HOT 70 is expected to include protection against accidental drops along with resistance to dust and water exposure.

Infinix said the device will introduce artificial intelligence-driven features to assist with everyday tasks such as note-taking and quick problem-solving.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a processor capable of supporting gaming, multitasking, and social media use without noticeable lag.

The approach signals a shift towards combining accessibility with premium-like design and functionality in the mid-range segment.

Full specifications, pricing, and availability are expected to be announced soon.

Infinix Mobility, founded in 2013, designs and markets smartphones globally, targeting younger consumers with a focus on design, performance, and affordability.
