Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir on Thursday offered Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Rajarbagh Police Lines Parade Ground in the capital.
The Eid congregation began at 8am, with senior police officials, members of the police force and people from different walks of life joining the prayers.
After the prayers, a special munajat was offered seeking the country’s overall development, continued progress and prosperity, along with the welfare of its people and the wider Muslim Ummah.
Later, the IGP exchanged Eid greetings and pleasantries with police officials, personnel and other worshippers present at the venue.
