Md Saimum Reza Talukder, a prosecutor at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), has resigned from his position.
The Solicitor Sub-division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued an official order on Monday accepting his resignation and formally relieving him of his duties.
Saimum Reza submitted his resignation recently, which was forwarded to the ministry by the Chief Prosecutor on 8 March.
He confirmed the development to TIMES of Bangladesh.
Appointed on 7 October, 2024, Saimum Reza served as a prosecutor at the rank of Assistant Attorney General.
No reasons for his resignation have been disclosed.
