Sabbir Ahmed FCA has been elected President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for 2026–27 term.
At the same time, Niaz Mohammed FCA, Ala Uddin FCA, Asifur Rahman FCA, and Mohammed Redwanur Rahman FCA have been elected Vice-Presidents for the same tenure.
The newly elected ICAB President, Sabbir Ahmed FCA, is a partner at Huda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., one of the country’s leading chartered accountancy firms, formerly known as A.F. Ferguson & Co.
He brings around three decades of professional experience, including more than 12 years of international exposure with a global “Big Four” accounting firm, having worked across Australia, Indonesia, Germany, Singapore, the UAE and the United Kingdom.
