The High Court on Thursday directed the relevant authorities to republish the results for non-cadre positions of 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) within the next 60 days.
The High Court bench of Justice Sashanka Shekhar Sarkar and Justice Urmi Rahman passed the order.
The court observed that the recruitment process for 43rd BCS non-cadre positions was not conducted in accordance with the law. The bench stated that the recruitment lacked transparency and was completed in violation of legal provisions.
Consequently, the court has mandated that a transparent merit list for these non-cadre positions be published within the specified 60-day timeframe.
The directive follows a writ petition filed by 455 BCS non-cadre job seekers.
