Cute First Division Men’s Handball League 2025 will officially begin on Thursday (November 6) at 3:00 PM at the Bandarban District Stadium, marking a new chapter for regional handball development.
Organised by the Bandarban District Sports Association under the supervision of the Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) and sponsored by Mousumi Industries Limited (Cute), the opening ceremony will feature a colourful rally to celebrate the start of the tournament.
The event will be inaugurated by Shamim Ara Nime, Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban and President of the Bandarban District Sports Association. Also present will be Saeed Ahmed, coordinator of the district-based Cute Handball League and Joint Member-Secretary of the BHF Technical Committee.
A total of eight teams, split into two groups, will compete for the top honours.
- Group A includes Little Star Club, Team One, Young Star Jubo Sangha, and Kalaghata GTL Sporting Club.
- Group B features Jaditong Jubo Sangha, Bandarban Soccer Sporting Club, Mro Residential High School, and Uzanipara Boys Club.
The tournament aims to enhance grassroots participation and provide a platform for local athletes to showcase their talent. The Bangladesh Handball Federation expects this district-level event to help identify promising players who could represent the country at higher levels in the future.
