Young musician and guitarist Antu Dash has reached a significant milestone in his musical journey by securing his first-ever endorsement, a recognition widely seen as a reward for years of dedication, discipline and perseverance.
Antu Dash has already established himself as a skilled guitarist in the country’s music scene. He regularly performs on stage with popular Bangladeshi singer Habib Wahid, playing guitar for hundreds of well-known songs in his growing career. Over the years, he has also played guitar for performances by many renowned and legendary artists, gaining hands-on experience across diverse musical genres, melodies, and stage dynamics.
The young musician has recently been recognised as an endorsed artist by the international instrument brand Real Mission. Notably, receiving a Real Mission guitar as a gift from China has been a matter of great honour and inspiration, according to the young guitarist.
“Through Guitar Shop BD, I became connected with the Real Mission brand. As a continuation of this journey, I have received lifetime recognition as an endorsed artist, provided I remain actively involved in my music career. I am the first musician from Bangladesh to be associated with this brand,” Antu Dash told ToB.
Born on April 6, 1997, Antu Dash began his musical journey in 2007 at the age of just 10, when he developed a deep passion for music. From an early age, his curiosity and commitment to learning music set him apart from his peers.
His formal music training began with the encouragement of his elder sister, who first took him to a music institution named Sound Touch in Rangpur. There, the siblings learned music together, with a particular focus on Nazrul Sangeet. Antu Dash recalls this period as a unique and formative phase that strengthened his devotion to music.
He said that from that time onward, music seemed to pull him toward daily practice with an unseen force. Regular rehearsal, self-discipline, and support from friends and seniors motivated him to move forward. His work ethic often surprised many, as he practised guitar and music for as long as seven to fourteen hours a day.
Expressing gratitude, Antu Dash acknowledged the continuous support of his well-wishers, friends, family and fans who have stood by him since the beginning. He believes this love and encouragement will continue to inspire him to create better music in the future.
