The price of 22-carat gold has decreased by Tk6,590 per bhori and now stands at Tk2,51,184.
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the price reduction on Monday morning.
According to the new announcement, the price of 21-carat gold is Tk2,39,754 per bhori, the price of 18-carat gold is Tk2,05,520 per bhori, and traditional method gold is Tk1,68,195 per bhori.
The price of silver remains unchanged.
Before that, after a series of increases, the price of gold had reached Tk2,86,000. This remains the highest price on record to date.
