Gas supply will remain suspended for 24 hours in Ashulia, Savar, and surrounding vast areas for emergency pipeline relocation work under the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway construction project.
Titas Gas confirmed the matter on Thursday and the suspension will be in effect from 8am on Friday until 8am on Saturday.
During the period, all categories of consumers will be deprived of gas supply in areas including both sides of the road from Ashulia TBS to Baipail, Dhaka EPZ, Malancha Power Plant, Beximco Industrial Complex, Kashimpur, Saradaganj, Haji Market, Sreepur, Chandra, Nabinagar, Savar Town, Savar Cantonment, Ulail, Bank Town, Savar Radio Colony, Kolma, Dosaid, Kumkumari, Akran, Charabag, Boro Ashulia, Tongabari, Kathgora, Jirabo, Gazirchot, Noyapara, both sides of Dewan Idris Road, Nayarhat, Bolibhodropur, Palli Bidyut, Dendarbor, Vhadail, Latifpur, and adjacent localities.
Moreover, low gas pressure may be experienced in the surrounding areas.
