Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed at various venues across the country to ensure security during the inauguration of the nationwide ‘Farmer’s Card’ distribution programme.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed at important venues in 10 upazilas across nine districts to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the inauguration of the nationwide ‘Farmar’s Card’ distribution programme, an initiative by the Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The deployed locations include Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircar Collegiate Institution in Sadar upazila of Panchagarh and Boda Government High School in Boda upazila, Shibganj Utholi High School in Shibganj upazila of Bogura, Goalanda Upazila Auditorium in Rajbari, Kripalpur Government Primary School in Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah, Bibir Bazar High School in Adarsha Sadar upazila of Cumilla, Napiter Char in Islampur upazila of Jamalpur, Bashir Ullah High School in Juri upazila of Moulvibazar, and Teknaf Aezahar Government Girls’ High School in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
BGB personnel have been deployed as required to ensure security at the mentioned locations.
According to the press release, BGB is working in coordination with other law enforcement agencies to maintain overall security.
It added that BGB is carrying out its duties with utmost professionalism to ensure the smooth and safe completion of this important national programme.
