BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has promised to make Faridpur a division if victorious in the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election.
Tarique Rahman pledged this as the chief guest at an election rally at the historic Government Rajendra College ground in Faridpur on Wednesday.
He said, “River erosion is one of the main problems of Faridpur. If BNP comes to power, embankments will be constructed.”
Highlighting the construction of the Padma Barrage to solve the water crisis, he demanded votes for the Sheaf of Paddy in the February 12 election.
Tarique Rahman said, “A conspiracy by a political party against people’s voting rights has begun. People call them by a secret name. They have one form at one time, and another form at another time. They not only change their form; they have no trust and faith in the people. For example, the head of the secret party has uttered extremely filthy words about girls. Nothing good can be expected from them. People saw their role in ’71.”
BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said, “They will say one thing with their mouths but do another. Those who take a stand against their own country’s mothers and sisters, speak ill of them, nothing good can be expected from them. Those who have started working unethically, how will they provide governance by honest people?”
Tarique Rahman informed that if his party comes to power, people’s governance will be established. An accountable government to the people will be established. BNP wants to build the country and change people’s fate, he said.
