To ensure smooth movement, Dhaka Elevated Expressway toll plaza in airport area will remain toll-free from 11am to 3pm on Thursday.
The information was disclosed through a press release issued on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, in a separate notice issued on Tuesday, Biman Bangladesh Airlines advised its passengers to remain cautious about possible traffic congestion on 25 December.
According to information received from various media outlets, there is a high possibility of massive public gatherings in and around Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the Airport-to-Gulshan roads, and Purbachal 300-feet road.
As a result, severe traffic congestion may occur in these areas, the notice said. In this situation, passengers of both domestic and international flights have been requested to leave for the airport well ahead of time on that day.
