Drake has achieved a historic milestone in the global music industry, topping the charts with three albums simultaneously as ‘Iceman’, ‘Habibti’ and ‘Maid of Honour’ debuted at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard 200, according to a report published on May 24.
The rapper, songwriter and performer becomes the first artist ever to hold the top three positions on the album chart at the same time. ‘Iceman’, long teased before its release, entered at No. 1 with 463,000 equivalent album units, marking Drake’s 15th chart-topping album and surpassing Jay-Z’s record for most No. 1 albums among solo male and R&B or hip-hop artists. He also tied with Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among solo acts, trailing only The Beatles.
The album’s performance also represents the second-largest sales week of 2026, behind BTS’s ‘Arirang’, and the strongest weekly showing for an R&B and hip-hop release this year.
Following ‘Iceman’, ‘Habibti’ and ‘Maid of Honour’ secured the second and third positions with 114,000 and 110,000 equivalent album units respectively. Drake had teased the project for two years before its release, first previewing new material in a livestream series in mid-2025.
He later used a fourth livestream on the eve of release to announce the surprise drop of three albums at once, shortly before revealing the covers and releasing the projects simultaneously.
Elsewhere on the Billboard 200 chart, Noah Kahan’s ‘The Great Divide’ rose from No. 1 to No. 4, followed by Ella Langley’s ‘Dandelion’.
The remainder of the top 10 includes Morgan Wallen, Michael Jackson, Lucki and BTS.
