Emeritus president of Gonoforum Dr Kamal Hossain is recovering well after undergoing a minor surgical procedure at Square Hospital in the capital.
According to Gonoforum general secretary Mizanur Rahman, Dr Kamal was admitted on Sunday and has already undergone a minor surgery.
“He is in stable condition and showing signs of improvement,” Mizanur Rahman told reporters, expressing optimism about Dr Kamal’s recovery.
On behalf of the veteran politician, Mizanur requested well-wishers and the public to pray for Dr Kamal’s swift return to health.
If his recovery continues as expected, Dr Kamal may be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, Mizanur Rahman added.
