Md Mizanur Rahman Dulal has been elected President, and Ashraf Hossain Khan has been elected General Secretary of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association for the 2026–2027 term.
The election was held over two days, on 22 and 23 April 2026, at the Association’s office located at the Revenue Building in Kakrail, Dhaka, with registered members casting their votes directly. The results were announced Friday, after the completion of vote counting.
The Blue Panel, led by Dulal and Ashraf, secured a decisive victory in the election.
Three panels contested in this election: the Blue Panel supported by BNP, the Green Panel supported by Jamaat-e-Islami, and the Red-Green Panel supported by the National Citizen Party (NCP).
It is noteworthy that this is the first direct election of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association since 2018.
