“At Dhaka Bank, we are constantly expanding financial solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” said Deputy Managing Director Md Mostaque Ahmed, adding that Spark reflects the bank’s commitment to enhancing financial access and lifestyle convenience for the next generation.

Mastercard Bangladesh Country Manager Syed Mohammad Kamal said the card is designed for digital-native and globally aware young consumers seeking convenience, empowerment and meaningful rewards.

The dual currency feature enables seamless transactions at home and abroad. Users will receive up to 5% cashback on categories popular among youth—such as online streaming platforms, Star Cineplex, food delivery services and ride-sharing apps—along with discounts on registration fees for exams including IELTS, SAT, GMAT and TOEFL.

Cardholders will also enjoy privileges at lifestyle brands, gadget stores, restaurants, hotels and resorts, in addition to access to more than 9,500 merchant partner locations across Bangladesh, the statement added.
