Several flights were diverted from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday due to dense fog, airport authorities said.
To ensure safe operations, six flights diverted to Sylhet airport. One flight diverted to Kolkata airport, while another diverted to Hanoi airport.
Flight operations resumed once weather conditions improved. Aircraft then began taking off and landing normally, the authorities added.
The airport authorities thanked passengers and stakeholders for their cooperation and patience during the disruption.
