Actor Deepa Khandakar has taken on several new web films and television dramas, expanding her slate of acting projects.
She recently wrapped shooting for the web film Happily Married, directed by Zahid Pritom.
On Saturday, she also began filming the seven-episode television serial Karmaphal, directed by Mohin Khan.
Later this month, she is scheduled to shoot several more television dramas.
Speaking about her latest work, Deepa said Happily Married revolves around a married couple with an age gap of around 18 to 20 years.
She said the husband and wife often argue over different issues but continue to live a happy and peaceful life together.
According to the actor, the story also contrasts their relationship with that of many young couples who regularly post on Facebook to present themselves as happily married, while raising the question of whether they are genuinely happy.
“The web film explores these issues. It is shaping up to be a very good project,” she said.
Deepa also expressed optimism about Karmaphal, saying she has high hopes for the television serial.
