A final decision regarding whether educational institutions will operate online or offline to be reached within this week, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon announced on Sunday.
Speaking at the Secretariat, the minister said meetings with various stakeholders will be held over the next two days to gather their opinions.
Following these consultations, the final decision will be made during the cabinet meeting scheduled for this Thursday.
Minister further informed that he held discussions with representatives from English medium educational institutions and the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) earlier on Sunday.
He noted that these measures are being considered as part of broader energy conservation efforts, highlighting that various countries across the world are taking similar steps and Bangladesh is also adopting such initiatives.
