The Election Commission sold a total of 28 nomination forms on the first day of its distribution on Sunday to the aspirant candidates for Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) elections.
Among them, 26 aspirants have expressed interest in contesting various posts of the central student body.
Seven candidates have taken nominations to vie for the post of Vice-President (VP), while two each for General Secretary (GS) and Joint General Secretary (AGS) posts.
Additionally, two more candidates have submitted nominations for hall-based student union elections.
A panel named “Droh Parshad” also filed nominations to stand for the election.
