Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay made a brief stopover in Dhaka on Friday while travelling to Germany.
He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:55pm, a senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Minister Abdul Moyeen Khan and State Minister for Foreign Affairs-1 Humaiun Kobir welcomed him at the airport.
After spending around 45 minutes in Dhaka, Tobgay was scheduled to leave for Germany on a chartered flight, according to the foreign ministry official.
