The court has directed the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramna Police Station to file a murder case regarding the unnatural death of film actor Salman Shah and to investigate and submit a report.

Granting the revision petition filed by the plaintiff side, Dhaka’s Sixth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Jannatul Ferdous Ibn Haque gave this order on Monday. Mohammad Habibur Rahman, the state counsel in the concerned court, provided this information. On this day, fans protested, describing Salman Shah’s death as a murder and demanding justice.

On 6 September, 1996, the body of film actor Salman Shah was recovered from his residence in Eskaton, Dhaka. At that time, Salman Shah’s father, Kamruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, initially filed a case of unnatural death.
