Community Bank Bangladesh PLC held its 74th board meeting at Police Headquarters on Monday, where key decisions were taken on investment proposals and policy matters.
Bangladesh Police Inspector General and Community Bank Chairman Md Ali Hossain Fakir chaired the meeting, after being nominated as chairman in line with a board decision at the outset of the session.
He then assumed the chair to preside over the meeting, the bank said.
Among those present were Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General Admin A K M Awlad Hossain, Additional Inspector General Finance Md Akram Hossain BPM Sheba, Additional Inspector General Development Md Sibgat Ullah BPM Sheba PPM, Additional Inspector General Special Branch Sarder Nurul Amin BPM Sheba, and Additional Inspector General and Rector Police Staff College Kazi Md Fazlul Karim BPM Sheba.
Also attending were Deputy Inspector General Confidential Md Kamrul Ahsan, Additional Deputy Inspector General Highway Police Muntashirul Islam PPM, Additional Deputy Inspector General Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust Ahmad Muyeed BPM Sheba, Inspector Kamrul Hasan Talukdar, Independent Director Syed Rafiqul Haq, Independent Director Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain FCA, Managing Director Current Charge Kimiwa Saddat and Company Secretary Saiful Alam FCS.
The meeting reviewed the bank’s overall business performance and discussed various policy-related agenda items.
