Community Bank Bangladesh PLC held its 71st board meeting at the Police Headquarters on Thursday, where the board reviewed investment proposals and discussed several policy-related agenda of the bank.
The information was shared in a press release.
Inspector General of Police Bangladesh and Chairman of Community Bank Baharul Alam chaired the meeting.
Key decisions were taken on investment proposals, while a number of policy matters relating to the bank’s operations were also discussed during the meeting.
Those present included Rapid Action Battalion Director General AKM Shahidur Rahman.
Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General for administration AKM Awlad Hossain and Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General for finance Md Akram Hossain also attended the meeting.
Participation at the meeting further included Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General for human resource management Abu Naser Mohammed Khaled, Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General for criminal investigation department Md Sibgat Ullah and Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General for development Sarder Nurul Amin.
Police Staff College Bangladesh Rector and Additional Inspector General Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, Bangladesh Police Deputy Inspector General for confidential Md Kamrul Ahsan and Highway Police Additional Deputy Inspector General Muntashirul Islam were also present.
Others attending were Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust Additional Deputy Inspector General Ahmad Muyeed and Bangladesh Police Inspector Kamrul Hasan Talukdar.
Community Bank Managing Director in current charge Kimiwa Saddat and Community Bank Company Secretary Saiful Alam also joined the meeting.
Community Bank said the meeting reflected the board’s continued focus on strengthening governance, investment oversight and policy direction of the bank.
