He further stated that, in accordance with regulatory directives, the process of forming a strong, efficient and acceptable board of directors would be completed in due course. He emphasised that governance reforms and board restructuring are part of ongoing measures intended to reinforce institutional stability and restore confidence in the bank’s long-term direction.
Zahir Hossain urged all officials and employees to maintain high standards of integrity, efficiency and professional discipline in carrying out their responsibilities. He said sustained institutional performance depends on adherence to ethical practices and consistent execution of duties across all operational levels.
Senior management present at the meeting reiterated their commitment to maintaining operational continuity and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. They also highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts between head office and field-level employees, particularly in managing nationwide banking operations.
Participants joined the session both physically and through virtual platforms, reflecting the bank’s nationwide operational structure and distributed workforce. Discussions also reflected the importance of internal communication and alignment across branches in maintaining service efficiency.
