Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has urged US companies to expand their investments in Bangladesh during his address at the US-Bangladesh Executive Business Roundtable, titled “Advancing Reform, Resilience and Growth.”
The event was organised by the US-Bangladesh Business Council (USBBC) at a hotel in New York, reports BSS.
Speaking at the gathering, Yunus encouraged leading US firms, including MetLife, Chevron, and Excelerate Energy, to increase their engagement in Bangladesh, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said.
He also noted that six Bangladeshi political leaders accompanying the chief adviser on his US visit attended the session and were introduced to top US business executives.
