A man lost his life after unidentified criminals set fire to a bus in Phulbaria upazila of Mymensingh early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Julhas Mia (35). He was reportedly asleep inside the vehicle at the time of the arson attack.
He is believed to have been the bus driver, said Roknuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Phulbaria Police Station.
OC Roknuzzaman said the incident took place around 3:15am at Balukjan. Three persons arrived on foot, set the bus on fire within 30 seconds, and then fled the scene.
Police are working to identify and arrest them.
