Building Materials Marketing Fest 4.0 was recently held in the capital as an industry platform focused on market realities, operational challenges and long term business resilience in Bangladesh’s building materials sector.
Organised by Brand Practitioners Bangladesh under the theme “Smarter Brands, Resilient Structures,” the programme aimed to encourage discussion based engagement rather than promotional activities.
The day long event featured eight sessions examining how the building materials market functions in practice, how demand is shaped and how leadership decisions influence operations and future sustainability, according to a press release.
Stakeholders including manufacturers, marketers, architects, engineers, developers and decision makers took part in open discussions on market exploration, operational discipline, strategic alignment and future readiness.
Khourshed Alam, Chief Operating Officer of AkijBashir Group, said the industry now requires disciplined and realistic conversations more than ever.
He added that such platforms help build shared understanding among stakeholders, which is essential for responsible decision making and long term progress.
Mirza Mohammad Ileush, Founder and Managing Director of Brand Practitioners Bangladesh, said the fest was designed as a neutral and practical space for the industry.
He noted that the objective was to help participants better understand how the market operates and how smarter thinking and systematic decisions can lead to more resilient outcomes.
Alongside the event, the eighth edition of Business Brillianz magazine was released, featuring stories of six next generation entrepreneurs from Bangladesh’s building materials industry.
The fest was supported by Platinum Partners Partex Board and AkijBashir Cables.
Strategic Partners included the Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers and Exporters Association and the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh.
Category Partners were Partex Door, Anwar Cement Sheet and Sasomi, while Business Brillianz served as the publication partner.
Hospitality and experience support was provided by Kazi and Kazi Tea, Bakeman’s, Mojo and Maggi.
The programme concluded with a gala dinner, where participants continued informal discussions on the insights shared during the sessions.
