BNP has announced a two-day programme to mark the 49th death anniversary of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani. The events are being organised by the Maulana Bhashani Death Anniversary National Observance Committee, formed by the party.
According to the schedule, a discussion will be held on Sunday, 16 November, at the Zahir Hossain Chowdhury Auditorium of the National Press Club in Dhaka.
On Monday, 17 November, party leaders will visit Santosh in Tangail. They will pay tribute at Maulana Bhashani’s mausoleum and join another discussion programme.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will attend the event as chief guest. The session will be presided over by BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu.
Leaders from the BNP and its affiliated organisations are also expected to speak.
