BNP lawmakers will hold a meeting at the Parliament on 19 August.
According to a notice issued on Wednesday by Nurul Islam Moni, chief whip of the National Parliament, the meeting will begin at 4pm at the ruling party’s meeting room in the West Block of the Parliament complex.
The meeting will be chaired by BNP chairman and leader of the Parliament Tarique Rahman, the notice said.
All MPs belonging to the ruling party have been requested to attend the meeting on time.
Copies of the notice have also been sent to the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Whip, ruling party MPs, and senior officials of the Parliament Secretariat and the Prime Minister’s Office.
