BNP has extended its heartfelt greetings to the people of the country following its victory in a large number of seats in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
In a press release signed by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the BNP announced that special prayers (Dua Mahfil) will be held after Jummah prayers this Friday at all mosques across the country, including in Dhaka.
The prayers will be offered for the well-being of former prime minister Khaleda Zia and for the overall welfare of the nation.
Despite the significant electoral victory, BNP has explicitly stated that no victory processions or public rallies will be organised to celebrate the results.
The party leadership has requested all leaders and activists of the BNP, its front and associate organizations, and the general public to participate in the prayers.
Additionally, the party has called upon members of other religious communities – including Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists – to offer prayers at their respective temples, churches, and pagodas for the continued welfare of the country.
