The 62nd anniversary of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (CBA) B-985 was celebrated at the bank’s head office on Wednesday.

The event was chaired by Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (CBA) B-985 President Foyez Uddin Ahmed.

Bangladesh Krishi Bank Officers Welfare Association Chief Coordinator (Deputy General Manager) Md Zahid Hossain and Convener (Deputy General Manager) Syed Liaquat Hossain delivered goodwill speeches, while CBA General Secretary Md Miraj Hossain delivered the welcome address.

Speakers highlighted the organisation’s 62-year journey, including its role in establishing employees’ rights, preserving professional dignity, conducting welfare activities and protecting the interests of general employees.

They recalled the organisation’s achievements since its establishment and expressed their commitment to further strengthening its activities through unity, discipline, accountability and mutual cooperation with all officers and employees.

The second session of the programme featured the Dhaka Unit Committee council and biennial conference of the CBA.

Md Shahabuddin Ahmed, Md Shafiuddin Ahmed, Md Sirajul Islam and Md Aslam, among others, addressed the event as speakers.

Central and unit-level leaders of the organisation, along with invited guests, attended the programme.
