Bizzmakr, a freelancer-powered business solutions platform, held a two-day Campus Activation Programme at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) on 14–15 June 2026, aimed at helping students identify, develop and apply market-relevant skills to improve employability, said in a press release.
The programme, designed to bridge the gap between learning and employment through Bizzmakr’s freelancer-based model and swipe-driven matching system connecting freelancers with businesses, attracted over a thousand participants including students, faculty members and staff, with activities conducted from 10am to 3pm on both days.
The event was held in a large tent set up on the JUST campus premises and featured interactive engagement sessions designed to introduce students to practical career pathways in the digital economy and freelancing ecosystem.
On 15 June, Bizzmakr Founder A S M Rafiul Haque led a session titled “Passion to Possibility” at the JUST auditorium, where he discussed trends in the freelancing industry, emerging digital opportunities and ways students can convert skills and interests into sustainable professional careers.
The session also included an interactive activity to help participants identify suitable freelancing roles based on their strengths and personality traits, alongside a live demonstration of the Bizzmakr platform and mobile application.
Earlier, Bizzmakr participated in the National Youth Festival at BRAC University and Flow Fest at Gulshan Club as part of its wider youth engagement initiatives focused on skill development, freelancing and entrepreneurship.
Founder A S M Rafiul Haque said young people often struggle to apply academic learning in real-world settings, adding that the initiative aims to help students identify potential, develop practical skills and prepare for the modern workforce.
Bizzmakr said it aims to play a growing role in Bangladesh’s expanding digital economy by strengthening freelance opportunities, fostering continuous learning and empowering local talent to contribute to national economic growth through technology-driven platforms.
