The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has expanded its Online One Stop Service (OSS) platform with five new services from the Directorate of Registration. The integration was launched at a ceremony held at the BIDA Conference Room in Agargaon, Dhaka, on Sunday.
The new services include land purchase deeds, lease deeds, agreement deeds, advance (Bayna) deeds, and power of attorney deeds, along with certified copies. With these additions, the OSS platform now offers 142 services from 47 agencies, up from 137 services from 46 agencies.
“From December 16, 2025, these services will no longer be available manually,” said BIDA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun. He also added that the new services would be reviewed after three months. BIDA plans to integrate all services from Bangladesh’s investment promotion agencies, including BIDA and BEZA, into a single-window platform by the end of this year.
ASM Saleh Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land, noted, “All Ministry services have been digitized, and efforts are underway to complete commercial land mutation within a week.” He assured that the Ministry was committed to providing efficient services for investment-related needs.
Md Liakat Ali Molla, Secretary of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, emphasised the need for transparency, saying, “It is crucial to clearly communicate service fees to avoid harassment and eliminate third-party interference.”
The ceremony also featured remarks by Kazi Abdul Hannan, Inspector General of the Directorate of Registration, and Jiban Krishna Saha Roy, Director General of BIDA. The event was conducted by Abu Mohammad Nurul Hayat Tutul, Deputy Director of BIDA.
BIDA’s Executive Members, senior officials, Ministry representatives, and members of the media attended the event.
