The “South Asia Trade Fair 2025” will begin on Thursday, September 18, at 11am at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka. The event will be inaugurated by BIDA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun.
The fair will showcase products such as ready-made garments, textiles, gems and jewelry, cosmetics, leather goods, home appliances, kitchenware, processed foods, and electronics, providing opportunities for trade and networking.
The event is organised jointly by the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). Key business leaders, including the Director of the SAARC Secretariat, will attend the event.
More than 100 companies from South Asian countries will participate, displaying their products and services. In addition to the exhibition, participants will be able to engage in business-to-business (B2B) sessions and discussions on various industry topics.
The fair will run until September 21 and will be open to visitors from 11am to 10pm daily, FBCCI said in a statement.
