Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation (BFIDC) and China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on “Sustainable Rubber Garden Management and Eco-friendly Wooden Resource Development” on Wednesday at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka.
BFIDC Chairman Mohammad Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul and CHMC Chief Representative Cheng Tingyu signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations, said a press release on Thursday.
Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Acting Secretary Fahima Khanam and Bangladesh Rubber Board Chairman (Additional Secretary) Nurun Nahar were present at the signing ceremony.
