Beximco Pharmaceuticals celebrated Pohela Baishakh 1433 highlighting traditional wisdom and its relevance to health, agriculture, and lifestyle.

The celebration, themed “Bochone Bachun,” drew inspiration from Khonar Bochon and focused on the intersection of culture, dietary practices, and agricultural knowledge, the company said in a press release.

Khona, believed to have lived between the 8th and 12th centuries, is known for her expertise in astronomy and for composing verses that guide farming, weather patterns, and daily life, many of which remain in use in rural Bangladesh.
