The event brought together mobile app developers, young innovators and industry stakeholders from across the country, according to a press release.
Northern University of Business and Technology student Md Saiful Islam received the Campus Ambassador Champion award for building an active campus community and encouraging digital innovation among students.
Farah Sayeed Abdul Bari was named She Squad Champion for her work in promoting women in technology.
Muhammad Tawseef Hossain from Barishal received the Emerging Individual Developer 2025 award.
Biye Bondhu, developed by Abu Bakar Siddique from Chattogram, was recognised as the Emerging App of 2025.
The National Android Development Bootcamp (NADB) was inaugurated at the event to support the development of future app developers.
Robi Axiata PLC Head of Marketing Mohammad Showkat Kader Chowdhury inaugurated the programme.
The two-month bootcamp will provide young developers with technical and business training, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities.
A dedicated website has been launched, where interested participants can find further details about building a career in mobile app development.
A panel discussion titled “Youth-led Innovation: Driving Bangladesh’s Digital Future” was also held, where speakers discussed skill development among young people and the future of the technology sector.
The discussion featured Ostad COO Shourov Barua, Robi Axiata PLC Director Manik Lal Das, ICT Olympiad founder Mohammad Shahriar Khan, and Miaki co-founder and CEO Taneem Islam.
The session was moderated by Miaki Head of Managed Services Md Altamis Nabil.
Among others, Robi Axiata PLC General Manager Shafiq Shamsur Razzaq, Manager Fatema Nashrah, and Senior Associate Khan Mahamuda Maliha were also present at the event.
bdapps is a digital platform in Bangladesh where developers can build, publish and monetise mobile applications.
The platform provides access to telecom-based services and APIs, enabling young and talented developers to create and scale their work.
